The Phoenix Caneriensis Palm (Canary Island Date Palm) is well known for its dramatic and architectural trunk and decorative canopy. We have a magnificent collection of advanced Phoenix Palms. These palms provide a grand and majestic entrance or feature to landscaping projects including land developments, shopping centres, streetscapes and acreages. They are well known for their long dark green fronds and pineapple shaped trunk. These large fronds have spikes closer to the trunk and must be pruned as the palm grows to maintain and create its neat, thick trunk. These outdoor palms require well-drained soil and prefer sunny or partly shady positions. Many sizes are available from 200mm pots (50cm tall) to advanced sizes in the ground (with trunks up to 4m tall).
